Bath Photography Festival

Developing a Bath Photography Festival

In 2018, we launched the debut ‘Bath Photography Festival’. The three-week festival had exhibitions in three venues and was run in association with will be part of the Fringe Arts Bath (FAB). FAB festival.

The festival’s aim is to promote and encourage creative photography. Bath has a rich photographic heritage. The city was the home of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) from 2000 to early 2019.  The famous Fox Talbot Museum is also only 15 miles away, at Lacock Abbey.

 The 2018 Bath Photography Festival – Real / Unreal –  25th May to 10th June 2018.

We would like to thank everyone who submitted and took part in the 2018 Real/Unreal festival. Further thanks, goes to our sponsors Leica Cameras, Manfrotto and the RPS, and the venues Boston Tea Party, Society Café and Green Park Brassiere.

On behalf of FAB and the Bath Photography Festival, I would like to thank everyone who submitted work to the Real / Unreal call out. Without this and the support from the venues and sponsors, this project would not have happened.

‘We have planted the seed and hopefully, the tree will grow.’

Simon Taylor.
