The Bath Christmas Market

Eighteen days of festive celebrating and shopping, this is a great time to see the city of Bath. Over a 150 wooden chalets surround the Bath Abbey and Roman Baths. The market traders offer beautiful handmade gifts, decorations and best of all in my case food and local beers.

This is a magical time to photograph Bath due to the colourful Christmas lights, which create plenty of interesting opportunities. Apart from the tourist attractions there is also an ice-skating ring and a Victorian Carousel to capture. Click on the examples below, most where taken using a slow shutter speed.
