This series of images were taken outside Liverpool’s Metropolitan Cathedral and to me visually symbolise the feel and character of Liverpool.

The images where taken after I had explored the famous docks, the vast amounts of listed buildings, the famous Cavern Club and experienced warmth of the people that are the heart of the city. Towards the end of my travels I ended up walking down the rather aptly named Hope Street, with a sense of optimism.
Viewing Paddys Wigwam through the large coloured glass structures was inspiring, which gave me the opportunity to capture in four simple images a snapshot view of a great city. The colours seem to represent the music, the character, the warmth and the being at the end of Hope Street a ever bright future.
The images will be exhibited 30th March 2015 – 15th May 2015
