Utopia-Dystopia
Is the world utopia and are we dystopia?
This series of images is one of many studies I have done looking at the world from a utopia-dystopia viewpoint. The simplistic subject matter is a good reflection of our present world with nature being utopia and humanity being dystopia. As any conservation standpoint will highlight the beautiful natural world is not given the appreciation and consideration it deserves.
This brings up several questions, such as what is utopia? And what are we actually looking for? Are we possibly initiating severe consequences and maybe ironically moving further away from utopia and becoming the cause of dystopia?
Utopia
- (sometimes not capital) any real or imaginary society, place, state, etc, considered to be perfect or ideal
dystopia
- an imaginary place where everything is as bad as it can be
