Wildlife off the U.K coast
Puffins, Puffins and more Puffins… oh and a rabbit
The beautiful island of Skomer is set just off the Welsh coast. It is a scenic and tranquil Wildlife trust reserve, which is well worth visiting. You can see charismatic Puffins, nesting Razorbills, soaring Guillemots, the odd Grey Seal and of course rabbits. However getting there will be dependent on the tide.
The Puffins have incredibly personal mannerisms and they are so trusting. I found them fun to photograph as you can get within a couple of feet from them. They are defiantly one of my favourite birds and Skomer is a wonderfully scenic place to see them.
